Brief Report on Walk with a Scholar (WWS) Programme at Sree Narayana College, Kannur

The Walk with a Scholar Programme, initiated by the Kerala Government as part of its Higher Education initiatives, has been successfully conducted at Sree Narayana College, Kannur, for the years 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. The program is coordinated by Dr. K. P. Prasanth and aims to provide mentorship to selected students, helping them achieve academic and personal excellence.
The WWS program focuses on providing guidance and support to students by assigning them mentors from the faculty and external experts in various fields. The objective is to develop students' critical thinking, career orientation, and overall development, making them confident and capable of facing future challenges.
Throughout these years, the program has seen active participation from both students and mentors, with workshops, seminars, and career guidance sessions being organized regularly. The initiative has contributed significantly to improving the academic performance and career readiness of the students at Sree Narayana College, Kannur.
