Grievance Redressal Cell

S.N. College, Kannur, a prestigious educational institution in Kerala, India, is committed to fostering a conducive environment for its students and staff. To ensure that grievances are addressed promptly and fairly, the college has established a dedicated Grievance Redressal Cell.

Purpose and Functions:

  • ● Accessibility: The cell serves as a platform for all members of the college community to express their concerns, complaints, or suggestions.
  • ● Impartiality: The cell operates independently and ensures that all grievances are treated with confidentiality and objectivity.
  • ● Timely Resolution: The cell strives to resolve grievances within a reasonable timeframe, providing a sense of justice and satisfaction to those involved.
  • ● Continuous Improvement: By addressing grievances, the cell contributes to the overall improvement of the college's policies, procedures, and services.

How to File a Grievance:

  • 1. Written Complaint: Individuals can submit a written complaint to the Grievance Redressal Cell, clearly outlining the nature of the grievance and providing supporting evidence if applicable.
  • 2. In-Person Meeting: Alternatively, individuals can schedule a meeting with the cell's representatives to discuss their concerns.
  • 3. Online Portal: The college may also provide an online portal (Etlab) for filing grievances, offering a convenient and accessible option.

Grievance Redressal Process:

  • 1. Acknowledgment: Upon receipt of a grievance, the cell acknowledges the complaint and informs the individual of the next steps.
  • 2. Investigation: The cell conducts a thorough investigation to gather information and understand the circumstances surrounding the grievance.
  • 3. Mediation: If appropriate, the cell may attempt to mediate the dispute between the parties involved.
  • 4. Decision: Based on the investigation and any mediation efforts, the cell makes a decision on the grievance.
  • 5. Communication: The cell communicates the decision to the individual who filed the grievance, providing clear explanations and recommendations.

● Login Etlab using user id and password


● Select ‘Grievance’ menu from the Dashboard


● Select ‘Post New Grievance’ from Grievance page


● Fill required fields and Post the grievance
