During the study tour organized jointly by Chittariparamba Malayalam Open Library and the Malayalam Department of Kannur Sree Narayana College, a felicitation ceremony was held at the Cherusseri Auditorium of the Kerala Folklore Academy. Dr. Sumithan Nair, recipient of the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi Award, received a gift from T. K. D. Muzappilangaad.
The event was inaugurated by Kalamandalam Mahendran under the chairmanship of Sreelatha TeacherHoD Malayalam. Dr. T. K. Anilkumar, Dr. Shanoz M. P., K. V. Dharmarajan, Dr. A. Sathyanarayanan, Dr. Sajina, and Jayarajan Muthappathoor extended their congratulations. Dr. Kumaran Vayaleri delivered the welcome speech, and Vinod Thodikkalam expressed the vote of thanks.
