Road safety seminar 11/8/25. College Principal Dr. K.P. Prasanth delivered the keynote address at the programme.
Road safety is one of the major issues faced by society today. The majority of fatalities and injuries in road accidents are among young people, especially college students. The main causes of such accidents include not using safety devices like helmets and seat belts while driving, overspeeding, using mobile phones, and ignoring traffic rules. College students should actively participate in road safety awareness programmes and practise responsible driving. Dr. K.P. Prasanth emphasised that every student has a duty to travel in a manner that ensures their own safety as well as the safety of others, with the understanding that “life is precious.”
