Three-Day National Quantum Computing Workshop at Sree Narayana College, Kannur .A three-day national-level Quantum Computing Workshop was held at Sree Narayana College, Kannur, from January 21 to 23, 2026, under the leadership of IQAC and IIC, in collaboration with the Centre for Quantum Science, Kannur University.

Dr. K. P. Prasanth, Principal of Sree Narayana College, highlighted the importance of introducing emerging and interdisciplinary areas like quantum computing in higher education. He emphasized that such programmes empower students and faculty to stay academically relevant and contribute meaningfully to future scientific and technological advancements.

Inaugurated by Dr. R. Ravindran, the programme featured a keynote address by Dr. R. K. Sunilkumar and expert sessions, including hands-on training. Faculty, research scholars, and students from Kerala and other states participated, making the workshop a valuable learning experience in this emerging field.
