"Clean Ocean, Beautiful Ocean" – One-Day Plastic Eradication Campaign

Kannur NSS Units, in collaboration with the Department of Fisheries, Government of Kerala and IQAC organized a one-day plastic eradication campaign at Thottada Beach, Kannur.
The programme was inaugurated by Bijoy Thayyil, Councillor of the 37th Ward, Thottada. Vineeth Ayadathil delivered the welcome address. The function was presided over by Mr. Abdullah (Sub Inspector, Department of Fisheries).
S.N. College NSS coordinators Mr. Rameshan C.K.V., Dr. Jishna M.V., and Mr. Chandran O.V. conveyed their felicitations. Babu Othayoth, Sandeep Kodayankandy, and Dayanandan also participated. Rannith Shoreline and Sunil Puthanpurayil (Malabar Nest Resort) played a key role in the event.
NSS volunteers from Sree Narayana College, Kannur, were the main participants in the beach cleaning and plastic eradication drive at Thottada Beach.
