The Independence Day celebrations were organized by NSS Units 20 and 21 of Sree Narayana College on August 15 at 9:00 AM.
Principal Dr. K. P. Prasanth hoisted the national flag and delivered the Independence Day message. College Superintendent Mr. Pratyush Purushothaman gave the welcome address. NSS Programme Officer Dr. Jeeshna M. V., Head of the Department of English Mr. Rakhi, and Chemistry Department faculty member Mr. Mahesh conveyed their greetings and spoke on the occasion. NSS Programme Officer Ms. Neethinya R. proposed the vote of thanks.
Following this, an Independence Day Quiz Competition was conducted for NSS volunteers at the Seminar Hall.
As part of the NSS activities, an Independence Day Quiz Competition was also held for students at the adopted village school, Kezhathulli L.P. School, Yathava Theruvu. Ayush secured the first place, Prayag the second, and Abhiroop the third. The winners were awarded prizes by the NSS Programme Officer, while other participants received consolation prizes.
