The World Environment Day celebration at Sree Narayana College Kannur, organized by the Biodiversity Club, Department of Botany, centered on the theme of environmental conservation and our collective responsibility towards addressing pressing issues such as land restoration, desertification, and drought resilience. Through an interactive session with wildlife conservationists including Dr.Roshnath, Dr. K P Prasanth, Dr. Aparna, and Dr. Jeeshna, undergraduate and postgraduate students gained valuable insights into the importance of biodiversity preservation and strategies for combatting environmental degradation. The event underscored the urgency of taking proactive steps towards conservation, urging participants to play an active role in safeguarding our planet's ecosystems for future generations.
