The department of Economics has always strived to realise this ideal and has also endeavoured to make the discipline relevant to the needs of the hour. The department works hard to make teaching a learning process- interesting, interactive and comprehensible to the students. As the oldest post graduate department of S.N College, the department has distinguished itself as one of the leading centres for Economics under Kannur University. With its enviable legacy of illustrious teachers and successful alumni, it has carved a niche for itself. The department is proud to count several eminent and distinguished college teachers as its alumni.
