On 21 May 2025, IGNOU Study Centre 1405, functioning under the Regional Centre Vatakara, organized a special get-together for students and functionaries to watch the live telecast of the program conducted by IGNOU Headquarters in connection with the nationwide campaign, 'One Nation, One Election.'
The event saw the enthusiastic participation of over 50 students and 10 functionaries, who gathered to engage with the live session that aimed to raise awareness and foster discussion on the significance, challenges, and implications of holding simultaneous elections across the country.
The program featured thought-provoking presentations that were both informative and enlightening. It offered participants a deeper understanding of the concept and its potential impact on India's democratic and electoral processes.
