Department of Zoology, in association with IQAC, organized a one-day field study on moth diversity under the guidence of Dr Sheik Muhammed Shamsudheen, Associate professor, Department of Zoology, Kannur University, Mananthavady Campus. The program aimed to create awareness about the ecological significance of moths and their role as bioindicators. Students, parents and faculty members are participated in field observations, species identification, and documentation of various moth species. The field study provided a valuable learning experience by combining classroom knowledge with practical exposure to biodiversity.
