Anti-Drug Awareness Rally at Edachovva, Kannur, 18/5/25
For promoting a drug-free society and a non-violent lifestyle, the Edachovva East Residents’ Association (ERA), Kannur, in collaboration with the NSS units and volunteers of Sree Narayana College, Kannur, organized a “Message Rally.”
The rally was held on Sunday, May 18, 2025, and started at 3:30 PM from Chovva - Vaidyar Peedika. Kannur Corporation Councillor Mrs. N. Usha flagged off the rally.
The anti-drug message rally, with the active participation of NSS volunteers and residents of Chovva.The rally passed through Thazhe Palam, D-Tech, and Canal Top before concluding at Park Road.
The concluding meeting was held at 6 PM. ERA President Mr. Ajith M.K. presided over the function. Secretary Mr. Rajeev M. delivered the welcome address, and Treasurer Mr. Sreesan A. spoke at the event. Dr. K.P. Prasanth, Principal of Sree Narayana College, Kannur, administered the anti-drug pledge to all participants including the NSS volunteers.
NSS Program Officers C.K.V. Ramesh and Dr. Jeeshna were present and guided the NSS team. Child Welfare Police Officer Mr. Shaheesh K.K., and ERA members Aravindan M.P. and Ashokan P.P. extended their felicitations. Mr. Mohanan N. delivered the vote of thanks.
