Sree Narayana College, Kannur will inaugurate a 3-day workshop on Quantum Computing and launch its Interdisciplinary Centre for Computational Innovation on January 21, 2026. Organized by the college’s IQAC and Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC). This program aims to introduce quantum computing concepts and promote interdisciplinary computational research among students and faculty.

The inauguration will be performed by Dr. R. Raveendran, Emeritus Professor (UGC) and former Principal of Sree Narayana College, Varkala. Dr. K.P. Prasanth, Principal Sree Narayana College, will deliver the presidential address, followed by a keynote on quantum advancements by Dr. R.K. Sunil Kumar, Director, Centre for Quantum Computing, Kannur University. The initiative reflects growing academic focus on emerging technologies in the region.
