I am really glad to be the head of one of the prestigious centres of higher learning in North Malabar region. The college is now fifty four years old and has been accredited by NAAC with 'A' grade. The goals ahead to be attained are many and there are challenges to be encountered in academics, research, curriculum, student progression and infrastructure building. Of late, colleges have become institutions where administration and classroom work have to be executed with a fairly high degree of professionalism and goal oriented approach. This is all the more essential to maintain the status quo of the accreditation by the NAAC. I am fully aware of the fact that the institution requires whole hearted support and professional commitment of all teaching and support staff in steering it to greater heights of excellence. The other major stakeholders who have a great responsibility are the management, parents and the local community. I am sure that they all would stand by me in the endeavour to scale greater heights in the coming years.
