Career Guidance Cell

Sree Narayana College Kannur, aims to provide career guidance and placements for students from all streams at both the under-graduate and postgraduate level. It assists students in finding placements and face challenging careers in their chosen fields by providing training and current information.
The Placement Cell of Sree Narayana College Kannur, conducts and organises workshops, seminars, career guidance activities and final placements for the students of the college on a regular basis.

OBJECTIVES

• To create awareness of the huge opportunities available for students from different streams in the corporate world.
• To help the students know about different courses available for their higher studies and beyond.
• To organize and conduct a 50 hours Training Program by Academic and Industry experts to motivate the students and enhance the Soft Skills.
• To provide a platform for the students to seek jobs in various areas.
• To provide awareness sessions on competitive exams so that students can enroll for government jobs
• To help choose their career by choice.

The Placement Cell of the College is headed by Dr Jithesh K, who works along with the students from each discipline.
Through daily meetings between the Principal and students, the placement coordinator schedules dates for sessions and for the companies to run placement drives.
Organizations in and around the North Malabar region, have been a part of the placement drive regularly since few years.
